San Telmo, Majorca

If you are looking for an unspoilt area of Majorca then take a trip to San Telmo situated on a western tip and positioned directly opposite Dragonera Island.
I have been there many times where you can walk in the hills around S'Arraco or just laze on the sandy beach at San Telmo. There is also a complex on the road past the hotel that has a swimming pool (currently not used because of the new Spanish regulations requiring a lifeguard), but the restauant here is excellent with the best in seafood.
Should you want to venture back inland why not take the bus to the market an experience in itself because the roads are so windy that the bottom of the bus literally scrapes around the corners.
To escape San Telmo by boat a short trip to Puerto Andratx is a must it is an old Majorcan fishing viallge, a bit bigger now than a traditional village but still lovely, brilliant restaurants and a history going back centuries.
So for an unhurried holiday I thoroughly reccommend San Telmo and would love to hear from anyone else with other great suggestions for just plain easy going holidays.
