If you are planning an extended trip abroad (over 91 days) or are thinking about backpacking the World, or parts of it then we can offer you our comprehensive travel insurance for travel from 1 month up to 18 months.

Not only does this policy offer you such a long duration of cover but it remains valid should you return home for a period in between your travels. It will become effective once again, as soon as you reach your destination. This is very often unavailable on our competitors backpacker travel insurance policies.

Within this cover there are all sorts of perks exsisting to offer you peace of mind, even if you have not even thought about it! You are automatically covered on our policy for up to £250 in search and rescue fees. Your UK medical Transfer costs will be completly covered should you need to a medical transfer back to the UK. Your personnal Liability level will be £1million and you will covered up to £3million for Emergency Medical Care.

If you are backpacking, it may have crossed your mind what would happen if you lost or had essential documents / money stolen or damaged. Not only will we be able to transfer emergency funds to you of up to £500, we can help you replace lost or stolen tickets and travel documents and refer you to travel offices. If your passport is lost or stolen outside the country of departure we will pay up to £200 per insured person for additional travel and accomodation expenses you in incur abroad to obtain a replacement passport. (excluding the cost of passport itself). Also to put your mind at further ease we can transmit two urgent messages following illness, accident or travel delay.
